Shuo Cui successful PhD defence

Successful defense of doctoral thesis

On 10th of December, Shuo Cui successfully defended her doctoral thesis entitled: “Synthesis and characterization of tellurium based glasses for far infrared sensing and thermoelectric applications”, carried out under supervision of Professor Bruno Bureau and Dr. Catherine Boussard-Plédel in the Glasses and Ceramics team of the Institute of Chemical Sciences (UMR CNRS 6226) at the University of Rennes. Shuo carried out her doctoral studies in the framework of the EU ITN project “GLACERCO” (www.glacerco.eu ) in the CNRS team. Prof. Monica Ferraris was one of the members of the Examination Board. Three of the articles published by Shuo are listed below. We congratulate Shuo on this achievement and also on her future position as post-doctoral researcher at the University of Turku (Finland).
